Exciting Life Update

Hi friends!!

Back in October I made a post about being furloughed as a flight attendant and what would come next for me so I wanted to take a moment to update you all with what has changed since then in my professional and personal life.

First, I am so happy to announce as of March 2021 I have been recalled back to fly. It was a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions being furloughed without an expected return to work date, but I am so thankful to have my job back. The time off during the holidays was nice, but it feels so good to be back in the friendly skies with all of my wonderful friends & colleagues.

Second, last October during our trip to New York City to celebrate our three year anniversary - Fred proposed to me! 🥰 It was such an amazing trip and we are now in the midst of planning our wedding. We will be getting married locally, in Fort Lauderdale in February of 2022. I am thinking of putting together some bridal related posts - like the journey to find “the” dress for our big day, or outfit ideas for bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, etc. I would love to hear down in the comments if y’all would be interested in reading those types of posts and which one you’d like to see first.

2020 was one hell of a year but it certainly ended on a high note and I am thrilled for this next chapter of my life with Fred. I’m also excited to finally see the light at the end of this pandemic tunnel. We have a few (domestic) trips planned in the upcoming months and one major international trip towards the end of the year that I can’t wait to share! It feels so good to be planning trips again and know that I’ll be getting back to sharing more travel content with y’all soon. After all - that is how my blog began back in 2019!

I honestly still have to pinch myself that this wonderful man asked me to be his wife! ☺️ The proposal couldn’t have been any more “us”. It was romantic, intimate and involved two things I love the most (besides my Prince Charming of course) - New York City & a delicious Italian restaurant!!

Also, I’m debating to have a bachelorette party or not, so please let me know if you had one & where you went! Will I regret not having one last hoorah with my girls? Let me know what you think down in the comments below!
