Valentines Day Style Guide
Roses are red
Violets are blue
If you’re still searching for the perfect Valentines Day outfit
this post is for you!
Ok, now that I’ve gotten that cheesy Valentines Day poem out of the way, let’s get down to business! No matter how you’re going to celebrate, or with whom, I wanted to put together a few outfits that I thought would be super cute and festive.
The first dress is definitely on the sexier side, but it fits like a glove (I mean with my spanks on of course) and I love that it’s classic red. To let the dress be the star of the show, I chose to pair it with nude/clear pumps, nude clutch, and minimal jewelry. It would be a great outfit for brunch or even a night out on the town!
This just might be my favorite of all the outfits I put together for this post. To be honest, when I bought this dress I thought that the print was floral. It wasn’t until I got home and put it on again to see how I wanted to style it that I realized there are actually hearts throughout the print. When I made this discovery I knew it had to be included in my Valentines Day outfit lineup. I decided to keep the shoes and bag white to go with the black and white theme of the dress and then add a pop of color with a red lip, and these adorable hoop earrings with a heart on them to tie it all together. Unfortunately, these exact earrings are no longer available but I did link a few other similar options below. This outfit is the perfect blend of sexy and classy!
This floral dress screams Spring and would be the perfect idea to wear if you’re just going to have a Galentine’s Day with your girlfriends, or even just celebrating in a casual way and want to be cute but comfortable. Who else loves to pair their dress with a good pair of white sneakers? It gives this such a fresh look, and Superga has recently become one of my favorite sneaker brands.
If a dress isn’t really your thing, not to worry! I also have 2 jumpsuits to share. The first is a dressier black option that can definitely be worn for many other occasions in the future. I have been loving jumpsuits for the past few years now, Im beginning to think this black one could even be the new LBD (little black dress).
Not only is this jumpsuit super comfortable, its mauve which is a more subtle Valentines Day color. Although I couldn’t find this exact one in stock, I was able to link a few that are similar!
If you made it this far, then you will see that I’ve added one new look. This dress is what I wore the night Fred proposed to me on our 3 year anniversary last October while we were in New York City. I also happened to see that the dress is currently 50% off! Its the perfect Valentines Date night dress with your signifiant other because its a statement feminine dress, while at the same time being classy.
