How To Style Booties for Fall/Winter
This week I rounded up my favorite booties for the Fall/Winter months. Not only are they all super comfortable to wear (even for extended periods of time), but they are also very versatile to style; more casual for the daytime or dressier for a night out. Two of the pairs I’ve had for a few seasons, and the other two pairs are recent additions to my wardrobe. All of the ways I styled these booties would also make for a great Thanksgiving Day outfit.
I purchased this pair of booties during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale earlier this year and they have quickly become one of my favorite pairs. The heel on this particular pair is a little higher (3 1/2 inches) than the others I have listed, but they are still very comfortable. The photos above were taken during our trip to New York back in September and let me tell you, if I can survive walking all day in New York in them, they are keepers for sure!
This is my oldest pair of booties. I have styled them with jeans and a bodysuit for a casual daytime look and also with a satin midi skirt and chunky sweater for more of a dressed up look. I bought these a few years ago at Nordstrom, so these exact ones aren’t still available. However, here is an alternative option that is similar. They are a great option that can be worn year round because of the perforated detail and side cut out that allow your feet to breathe even when the temperature is warmer outside.
Finally, I acquired this pair of booties last Fall and while I will say I have styled this pair the least compared to the others, I still equally love them. My favorite part about them is the sock material on the top because I have very small ankles and some booties leave a lot of room around them - but this pair fits very well. So if you are also a person with smaller ankles/calves, I definitely recommend looking for a sock bootie style. I wasn’t able to find this exact color in stock, but I have linked another gorgeous color here (and they are currently on sale)!
Since 3/4 of these booties are suede, a great tip is to spray them with a protectant like this when you first purchase them. I usually spray the boots generously and then leave them outside on my balcony for 30 minutes to dry well. This step will help keep your suede boots looking new for a long time!
I would love to hear in the comments below which of these was your favorite way to style these booties.
